Terms of Use
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Mason Jar Crafts (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the site provides
The site publishes free guides, ideas and tutorials about decorative mason jar projects for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it. Jars, paints, glues and other supplies vary by maker, so sizes, quantities and times in the guides are approximate examples to adapt to your own materials.
Craft safety and disclaimer
Every project on the site is decorative. By following a guide, you accept that:
- a jar that has been painted, sealed, glued or otherwise altered is not for food, drink or canning, and nothing on the site says that any paint, glue or sealer makes it so;
- the site does not publish candle or open-flame projects, glow projects use battery LED lights only, and you should not put a flame in a decorated jar;
- jars should not be heated in an oven, microwave or dishwasher or exposed to sudden temperature changes;
- you are responsible for reading and following the manufacturer’s instructions and warnings for the paints, sprays, sealers, glues, lights and tools you use, including ventilation and drying time;
- glass can chip and break: check jars for chips and cracks, handle them with care and do not use damaged jars;
- children should take part only under adult supervision, and sharp tools and small parts should be kept away from young children and pets.
The guides are general craft information, not professional advice. You follow them at your own risk and are responsible for working safely in your own space.
Using our content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Mason Jar Crafts. The images are original flat illustrations made for the site. You are welcome to:
- read, print and use the guides for personal, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
- make any project for yourself or as a gift and adapt it however you like;

- quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.
Please do not republish whole articles or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.
“Mason jar” is used on the site as the common name for a glass jar with a threaded neck and a two-piece lid. Our rights relate to our own written instructions and illustrations, not to the general craft ideas behind them. Mason Jar Crafts is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any jar, paint or craft-supply manufacturer.
